PTL Rock Church Redby Minnesota
2016 was a blessed year that I will never forget. When we met Chris and Pam at an Open Arms Native Missions meeting, I had no idea how our lives would become so intertwined. Soon after we realized that it was not just the Well’s but Bethany Stillwater congregation was going to join in our efforts to remodel PTL and to assist those in need in Red Lake, Minnesota.
This last year we have watched a true transformation in the building itself, and the power of God moving to bring a new beginning in many ways. Pastor Josephine has shared with us how she prayed for years and asked the Lord to send help her way. Her prayers were answered but to a much farther degree than we ever imagined. The people from PTL are a humble people, and are very dear to our hearts. When you know all the tragedy that they have endured and they still desire to help other’s. Pastor Josephine could have said, this job is just too hard for me, as her husband went home to be with the Lord 11 years ago, she faces challenges to keep the lights on and to buy propane, also there is always a need for wood for the wood burning stove. She tries to feed the congregation after services and she could use help with food too. The ladies Bethany have cooked meals and sent food up frozen to be used as needed. That has been a great help! I would like to ask that you consider supporting this work up in Red Lake, I don’t want to sound like a commercial, but if some folks would send once a month as an offering, it would really help. Bethany Stillwater and Open Arms Native Missions have help with propane over the winter months, so thank you very much to those who have made it possible for us to help PTL.
